DESCRIPTION

We are looking for someone who has GNC integration experience, knows both simulation and electrical aspects.  It is not the typical GNC algorithm developer.  A real-time S/W Engineer would work or possibly an Electrical Engineer with simulation experience.

 

Assistance is needed in a Tactical Strike Missiles HWIL.  The candidate will support implementation and debugging of program specific hardware-in-the-loop in Dallas as well as USG customer HWIL.  Experience with FORTRAN, Embedded Software, and Ada highly desirable.  Ability to use hardware test equipment such as oscilloscopes desirable.  Positioning also requires development and debugging skills down to hardware interface layers.  Candidate needs to be able to work with limited oversight. Moderate travel would be required to USG HWIL located in Huntsville, AL for integration and testing efforts.  A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics is required. Previous experience in the following is desired but not required: Guidance, Navigation, Control, and Modeling & Simulation. Experience using MATLAB, FORTRAN, and C/C++.

MANDATORY

  • Must have Active DoD Secret clearance

  • RECENT Simulation development experience in a high-level language
