DESCRIPTION

NOTE: This person will start off working in Grand Prairie, TX while training and becoming familiar the environment and the position. The person will then relocate and work out of the Sunnyvale, CA facility. Occasional travel back to Grand Prairie may be required, but if it happened it would not happen very often.

Looking for a strong HWIL individual with a solid HWIL background that is reflected in the resume.

 
Develop and maintain the real-time simulation code, user interface code, device driver code, data collection code and display code.
 
Responsibilities will include operations and software development from requirement analysis to integration in a prototype environment. This role is established to identify and resolve software engineering related issues to ensure that the software under test is designed and developed to achieve overall product objectives and program requirements. This position will be responsible to coordinate with the project engineers, program leaders, and other organizational elements to identify and mitigate risk and to ensure all program specific requirements and objectives are understood and achieved. This position is responsible for understanding and implementing applicable LM-MFC processes and procedures.

 
Experience in real-time software generation, with hands-on experience related to hardware testing and/or embedded systems and/or a simulation systems is required. Experience with C and C++ programming languages in a Real-Time Operating System or Linux environment is required.  This will be a remote position in Sunnyvale, CA supporting testing for the TMI program in the THAAD Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL).

MANDATORY

US Citizen
Active US DOD Secret Clearance Required To Submit

4 Years’ professional experience with a BS in Computer Engineering; Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field
4 Years’ experience with C and C++ in a Real-Time Operating System or Linux
4 Years’ experience with software configuration management (CM) Tools;                                 
4 Years’ experience with object oriented design real time SW design
4 Years’ experience with Object Oriented (OO) real time development (i.e. algorithm implementation, I/O implementation)
4 Years’ experience with Multi-core, multi-threaded development
4 Years’ experience with software test

 

DESIRED

0-3 Years’ experience with continuous integration and test.                                 
0-3 Years’ experience with software static and or dynamic analysis tools.
