DESCRIPTION

Real-time embedded Software Engineer to implement Operational Flight Software (OFS) in a Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) Guidance Set using the Ada programming language to provide Navigation, Guidance and Control. The candidate will experience all phases of software development ranging from requirements analysis through code implementation and formal qualification testing. Strong Ada is most important skill needed.

SKILL/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

MANDATORY

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have an Active DoD Secret clearance
• 2 years Knowledge of Ada programming language (Strong Ada is most important)
• Real-time embedded development experience using the Ada programming language
•  Experience with the VxWorks RTOS
• Strong knowledge of serial and Ethernet communication protocols
• Experience developing applications that control inertial and GPS navigation
• 4 Years’ professional experience with a BS in Computer Engineering; Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field;
• Years’ experience with software configuration management (CM) Tools;
• Experience with continuous integration and test.
  

 

DESIRED

• 4-5 Years C/C++ experience
• Experience with software static and or dynamic analysis tools.
• Experience with SW safety
• Experience with Cyber Security
• 4 years’ experience with Object oriented design real time SW design
