DESCRIPTION

Systems Engineer to support production and development efforts of Instrument and Control cabinets for commercial and defense applications.  Candidate will address day to day production issues of electronic and mechanical equipment, including determining proper technical resolution and updating applicable technical documentation as required.  Candidate will create basis of estimates for production and engineering development efforts. Must be able to work with and lead engineers of various disciplines, program managers and manufacturing personnel.  Candidate should be a safety and process minded individual.  Will support customer meetings.  Occasional travel may be required.  Overtime may be required.

SKILL/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

MANDATORY

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Candidates with a B.S. degree in a related discipline and systems engineering work experience may be considered
  • 2 years’ Project leadership skills (Ability to support a lead System Engineer to manage requirements, program commitments, schedule, budget and quality)
  • Requirements managements skills using DOORs or the ability to learn
  • 2 years’ Data analysis experience or classwork
  • 2 years’ involvement with product lifecycle development


 

DESIRED

  • Military or Aerospace Experience
