Location: Grand Prairie TX


Description:

We are seeking a Reliability Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX responsible for developing reliability predictions using approved prediction methodologies for mechanical and electrical designs. -- Perform Failure Mode and Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA). -- Develop reliability program growth plans, and conduct reliability growth analysis. Support design reviews and test activities as required. -- Participate in Corrective Action Boards (CAB) and Failure Review Boards (FRB). -- Identify Failure Review and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) trends to identify and prioritize failure modes to investigate for corrective actions. -- Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), support Concept Screening Board (CSB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB). -- Prepare for and participate in Reliability Scoring Conferences. -- Work action items from the Failure Review Board and Reliability Scoring Conference meetings. -- Candidate will spend majority of time working in a team environment, providing inputs to engineers, performing analyses, and writing reports. -- There may be some travel.

 DURATION: 6 Months (01/28/2019 to 07/27/2019)

PAY UP TO: $60/HR



Mandatory Requirements:

  • Requries Active Secret Security Clearance
  •  6 years’ experience as a Reliability Engineer
  •   Strong technical background.
  •   Experience with performing reliability predictions.
  •   Experience with reliability FRACAS (failure reporting, analysis, and corrective action system) and data mining.
  •   Experience with the FMECA (failure mode, effects, and criticality analysis) process.
  •  Experience with Windchill Quality Solutions Reliability software tool or equivalent
  •   Ability to manage subcontractors in Logistics field of expertise.
  •  Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  •   Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships.
  •   Excellent oral and written communication skills, technical writing experience, and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups.

     Desired:
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree.
  • Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
  • Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding.
  • Practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting.
  • Analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
  • Military experience.
  • Safety engineering knowledge.
